Research group: Digital Care

Who are we?

Digital Care is a research group that works on digital transformation in the fields of health, education, and social causes. They design innovative digital solutions, such as apps and video games, to improve processes in the education and health sectors, with a particular focus on accessibility and personalisation. This includes the early detection and intervention of learning difficulties in children and young people, such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, or ADHD.

One project that the group has already developed and scientifically validated is a video game that enables the assessment of skills such as reading, mathematics, attention, and working memory, and then generates personalised learning activities based on the user’s educational progress.

Institution: University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia
