AccessCat training returns on 20th and 27th June, with six 15-minute sessions open to all, free of charge, and delivered by researchers from the network that explore accessibility in communication and information from various perspectives.
This is the third edition of the AccessCat training capsules. View previous series: The 15x15 of 2023 and The 6x15 of 2024.
The main goal of the research carried out by the research groups of the AccessCat Network is to provide accessibility solutions for a diverse society that must be inclusive and universal.
Who are they? What do they do? What technologies, services, and educational resources do they offer? Learn more about AFIN Barcelona, CLiC, DiCode, DIDPATRI, GIAP, GRIHO, GTI, LSC Lab, MiA, Neolcyt, NODES, QURBIS, ReLaTe, STS-b, TALN, TRACTE, TraDiLex, and TransMedia Catalonia.
Everything catalogued by the network has been developed by our groups and is based on their research. The catalogue has been expanded with new items, such as the Recommendations on the integration of accessibility in higher education and the PlanAccess service.
AccessCat serves as a bridge between research and industry. That is what motivated dozens of entities to become affiliated: to be part of a community that connects researchers, institutions, experts, companies, and entities linked to the accessibility sector.
Would you like to know more about the 76 affiliated entities that, through their work, manage to sow seeds in favour of accessibility in society? Check our index.
Are you an entity, company, or institution that shares the mission, values, and objectives of the network? Do you work in the field of communication and information accessibility, or is your mission to make your products, services, and activities more accessible? Join AccessCat. All entities, companies, or institutions particularly interested in the Network’s mission and its derived results are welcome to join AccessCat without any financial commitment. We look forward to hearing from you.
The funding calls for 2025 from the AccessCat Network are open. These calls aim to support actions in the field of accessibility to communication and information. They are divided into three categories: Awareness-raising and knowledge transfer activities, Standardisation activities, and International missions.
Next submission deadline: 10th July.
