Who are we?
GRAM works in the field of the acquisition, teaching and learning of foreign, social and heritage languages in multilingual contexts. Its research explores multilingual development from different perspectives in order to understand how learners’ characteristics and their learning environment influence, support and shape their linguistic development.
An emerging and strategic line of research within the group is accessible communication and accessibility to information and communication. In particular, this includes the development of projects aimed at removing communication barriers in diverse educational and social contexts, as well as the creation of practical, transferable resources for professionals and institutions working in areas sensitive to communicative diversity.
