On 13 December, the Network celebrates AccessCat Innovation Day, during which the winner of the II Call for Disruptive Solutions (2025) will be announced.

The mission of the AccessCat Network is to promote the transfer of research results in the field of information and communication accessibility through different actions. Because of this, the Network has kicked off the II Call for Disruptive Solutions, whose objective is to fund valorisation studies for disruptive solutions (in technologies as well as services or innovative knowledge) in the field of accessibility.

The winner of the call will be announced during AccessCat Innovation Day, which will be held on the morning of 13 December at the observation point of the CCCB (Montalegre 5, Barcelona). During this event, the proposals that passed the written stage of the II Call for Disruptive Solutions will be presented orally. 
At the end of the event, the winning solution will be announced, and it may receive up to €20,000 of funding.

  • SCRIBAL: A Specialised Digital Transcriber
    • Researcher: Mireia Farrús
    • Research group: CLiC (UB)
    • Phase 1 score: 76.33
  • Lulú, the communication barrier-breaker
    • Researchers: Chiara Gunella and Marina Pujadas
    • Research group: TransMedia Catalonia (UAB)
    • Phase 1 score: 68.33
