Comprehensive advisory and support service in responsible research and innovation (RRI), designed for research teams, companies, or institutions that wish to develop R+D+I projects with a social and ethical impact.
From a practical, critical, and collaborative perspective, and based on the European RRI framework, strategic support is offered to align research and innovation with current social, environmental, and ethical values: citizen participation and co-creation, anticipation and ethical reflection, gender equality and inclusion, scientific education and open access, environmental sustainability, and responsibility.
Depending on the needs, the service may include:
- Diagnosis of the challenges and opportunities for integrating RRI into a project.
- Support in defining teams, phases, and roles.
- Support in drafting proposals for competitive calls and project documents.
- Summaries and analytical reports with recommendations.
- Guidance in living labs to integrate RRI in real experimentation, testing, and implementation environments.
- Co-creation and critical reflection activities.
- Customised and practical training using in-house resources (practical RRI guide, activities, real-world examples) in various formats (in-person, online, hybrid).
- Partners in R+D+I projects (within national or European consortia).
The research group STS-b combines academic rigour and social commitment with extensive experience in integrating RRI, resulting from:
- Participation in leading RRI projects at a national and European level.
