The AccessCat Network supported CLAU 2024, a large-scale, international, online conference that held its second edition from 7 to 9 November.

Over three days, the Latin American Accessibility and Usability Congress (CLAU) explored various aspects of digital accessibility. Through lectures, conferences, and free workshops, topics such as accessibility in web environments, mobile applications, and the latest technologies (such as AI) were discussed. It is an international congress that brought together over 4,000 registrants and 40 speakers from all sectors, including prominent companies such as Google, Amazon, or W3C.

The 2024 edition, the second one, was held from 7 to 9 November, and had the support of the AccessCat Network and the participation of researchers Cris Ladaga (from the group NODES, representing the AccessCat Network) and Afra Pascual (from the group GRIHO).

  • Researcher Afra Pascual Almenara led the workshop “How to Validate Accessibility in Web Environments”.
  • Researcher Cris Ladaga was in charge of representing the Network with the lecture “Accessibility for All: Knowledge Transfer from the University to an Inclusive Society”. The lecture is available online, starting at minute 1:42:50.
