An educational platform that provides resources, guidelines, recommendations, and examples on how to create digital videos with accessible information for people with disabilities.
The platform is the outcome of the Improving Teaching Quality Project (MQD Project, originally in Catalan) titled Barrier-Free Videos at University. The project was carried out by the GRIHO research group (UdL) in collaboration with the COMPETECS research group (UdL) and researchers Mireia Ribera and Rubén Alcaraz from the Adaptabit Teaching Innovation Group (UB).
The platform’s main resource is the ‘Accessible Digital Content Guide: Video’. This guide consists of seven chapters, each of which can be downloaded separately in PDF format:

- Subtitling guide
- Audio description guide (CapScribe)
- Web players guide (HTML5, ccPlayer, and JWPlayer Controls)
- Camtasia Studio guide
- Introduction to audio-to-text conversion (Dragon Naturally Speaking and Audacity)
- Guide to creating SCORM packages, describing packages with IIE LOM standard metadata, and publishing packages on Moodle.
