Teaching materials created within the BRIGHTER FUTURE project geared towards developing sensitive and inclusive practices in schools and social settings. The materials teach advanced skills to work with children and teenagers in general and, specifically, to work with ones who have been temporarily or indefinitely separated from their families. They also provide tools for managers and policy makers to design interventions within the educational system that counter educational and psychosocial discrimination.

The materials include:

  • Handbook for professionals in education “A Handbook for teachers on children in alternative care and adopted children”
  • Training module for undergraduate and postgraduate students “Early adversity experiences and wellbeing at school”
  • Online library
