Custom consultancy and training service in the field of accessible communication or accessibility to information and communication, based on two key points:

- Detecting and analysing user needs to design accessible products and services. 

- Optimising how organisations interact with all individuals, ensuring there are no communication barriers, especially for persons with disabilities. 

 

The areas of operation are:

  • Media accessibility (including social networks), culture and entertainment (facilities, live events, immersive environments).
  • Accessibility in education.
  • Video game localisation and accessibility.
  • Sustainability and accessibility.
  • Clear/easy language communication.
  • Contact with user groups (recruitment) and management and validation of ethical aspects for accessibility projects.

 

The TransMedia Catalonia research group provides solutions based on 20 years of research and training in the field of accessibility, as well as a rigorous user-centred methodology that has been applied in multiple European projects. The group has a comprehensive view of the needs of creators or developers and users, and it contributes a high-level team with international experience in research, educational innovation, and standardisation. The fields of expertise of TransMedia Catalonia are audiovisual media and immersive environments, video games, culture, and education.
