A gamified mobile app that helps improve reading comprehension in Swahili for children in primary schools in Kenya.

The minigames “Tucheze na tusome” offer strategies to become a proficient reader as the player passes different levels and collects as many badges as possible. Through the minigames, the child tests their reading comprehension, learns new vocabulary, and can demonstrate their skills and speed.

The teaching materials included in the app are aligned with the curriculum proposed by the Kenyan Department of Education.
