Activities organised by researchers in the network in order to spread their knowledge on accessibility to society. The goal is to raise awareness on how important it is for everyone to have access to communication and information, as well as to offer innovative solutions.

The network participates in Smart City with the groups NODES (UOC), TALN (UPF), GRIHO (UdL), TransMedia Catalonia (UAB), and TraDiLex (UPF) to showcase their technologies and solutions, reaffirming their commitment to communicative accessibility in the field of smart cities.

TransMedia Catalonia and TraDiLex researchers serve as jury members for the ATRAE awards (an affiliated entity of the Network). Estel·la Oncins participates as a jury member for subtitling, Blanca Arias for audio description, and Carme Mangiron for video game localisation.

On 18th October, several panels led by women—including researcher Estel Malgosa from AFIN, a research group in the AccessCat Network—will reflect on the social impact of research.

The Clúster Audiovisual de Catalunya, an affiliated entity of the AccessCat Network, organises a round table in the Serializados Pro festival. The discussion will focus on accessibility to audiovisual platforms. Estel·la Oncins (TransMedia Catalonia) participates moderating the conversation between the affiliated entities 3Cat and MultiSignes alongside the platform Filmin.
