To mark the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Catalan RDI networks are organising a joint event to highlight the role of women in research and knowledge transfer.

Researcher Estel·la Oncins (TransMedia Catalonia) will participate in the debate session “Women, Science, and Knowledge Transfer” on Monday, 10 February, organised by the Catalan RDI networks to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. She will be joined by other female researchers from across the Catalan RDI networks, who will share their experiences as women scientists in the field of knowledge transfer.

This event aims to reflect on the presence of women in science and technology, particularly in the transfer of knowledge to industry and society. It provides an opportunity to showcase the contributions of women in diverse fields such as biomedicine, energy, artificial intelligence, digital accessibility, and sustainability.

[Update: You can watch the session on the H2CAT network’s YouTube channel, in Catalan and Spanish.]
