AccessCat training sessions for researchers are back. The 2026 programme will consist of four sessions from May to July.

One of AccessCat’s missions is to provide its researchers with tools to support knowledge transfer and the dissemination of their research. For this reason, internal training sessions for researchers have become a key pillar of AccessCat’s agenda.

The 2026 training programme covers a wide range of topics, from knowledge transfer in the social sciences and humanities to the use of AI in proposal writing. See the dates below:

The use of generative AI for drafting value propositions

A practical training session aimed at researchers on the use of generative artificial intelligence tools applied to knowledge and technology transfer. During the session, participants will learn how to use generative AI to support the drafting of value propositions, the search for technological and market information, the identification of companies and potential partners, and the preparation of transfer materials. The session will also address the precautions to be taken when entering data or sensitive information into generative AI tools, particularly in research, innovation and transfer contexts. The training will adopt a practical, case-based approach, with the aim of enabling the immediate application of the knowledge acquired.

Date: Thursday, 4 June, from 12:00 to 13:30, online.

Trainer: Vicente Barberá (Viromii).

Registration: Free access for researchers from the AccessCat, H2Cat, XaRFA, AgriTech, RDI-IA, XRE4S and XWXIN networks. Registration

Language: The session will be held in Catalan.

Discover Industrial Doctorates: practical examples and success stories at AccessCat

A training session dedicated to the Industrial Doctorates programme. The fundamentals of the programme will be explored with Jordi Alba, technical director of the Industrial Doctorates Plan of the Government of Catalonia, and examples linked to the AccessCat Network will be presented. More information coming soon.

Date: Wednesday, 3 July, from 12:00 to 13:30, online.

From academic conference to trade fair: learn how to present your research in a competitive environment

A practical training session to understand the language codes of trade fairs and other competitive, market-oriented environments. How should you adapt your message? What do audiences want to hear? What should you say? What strategies are needed to communicate your proposals effectively? These are some of the questions that will be addressed during the session. More information coming soon.

Date: Wednesday, 17 July, from 9:30 to 13:30.

Venue: Assembly Hall of the Department of Research and Universities (Via Laietana 2, Barcelona).

Trainer: Cristina Masachs (Softlanding).

Previous sessions of the programme:

Training: “Social sciences and humanities with impact: examples, guidance and transfer to society”

This session has two main objectives. First, to provide examples of knowledge transfer in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) that can serve as references. Second, to offer a methodology for valorising knowledge and bringing it closer to society and the market.

Through a practical session focused on examples, discussion and participation, the session focuses on:

  • The value creation process in SSH: key concepts, specific features, potential applications and their materialisation into products/services.
  • Methodology for knowledge transfer in SSH: environmental conditions and transfer pathways.
  • Practical cases and examples of knowledge transfer in SSH.

Trainers: Nuria Fernández and Eloy López (UNEM).

Language: The session is conducted entirely in Spanish.
