On 17 October, from 13:00 to 13:30 h, the research groups TransMedia Catalonia and LSC Lab will showcase various educational resources developed by researchers in the Network.
Do you want to expand your knowledge in accessibility? Do you need a guide or course to delve deeper into sign language, audio description, subtitling, etc.? The AccessCat Network researchers are here to help. In our catalogue, you’ll find dozens of free educational resources focusing on accessibility from various perspectives. And, of course, it is all based on their research. A complete repository that will help solve all doubts.
The second session of The AccessCat Demos, titled Educational Resources, will focus on four resources on easy-to-understand information, audio description, and Catalan Sign Language (LSC). Come and find out more!

- EASIT, educational platform to learn how to create easy-to-understand information (TransMedia Catalonia, UAB).
- ADLAB PRO, teaching materials on audio description (TransMedia Catalonia - UAB).
- CREA-LSC: Resource Centre for the Teaching and Learning of Catalan Sign Language (LSC) (LSC Lab - UPF).
- MOOC “Parla’m amb les mans, que t’escolto amb els ulls” (“Talk to me with your hands; I’m listening with my eyes” in English), an introductory course to Catalan Sign Language (LSC Lab - UPF).
The session is online, free, and open to the general public.
Demonstrations will be performed in Catalan and Catalan Sign Language, and will include live subtitling.
