AccessCat Network

The Accessibility Innovation Network of Catalonia is a knowledge transfer network. We want to offer solutions to a diverse society where everyone should have access to information and communication

Follow AccessCat’s presentations at the WSIS, the UN’s international summit on the information society

From 7 to 11 July, the AccessCat Network will take part in the United Nations’ international summit WSIS, the World Summit on the Information Society. We will be joined by researchers from the TransMedia Catalonia (UAB), CLiC (UB), and ReLaTe (URV) groups, who will be participating in various talks and round tables.

How to transfer your research? New training to ensure its impact on the market and society

The new training, organised jointly by the H2CAT network and the AccessCat Network, combines preparatory work, practical sessions, and interaction with proven methodologies to help researchers explore how to identify and define real problems, validate potential solutions, and start building a business model. The ultimate goal? To foster an impact-oriented mindset and prepare researchers to develop projects that can be transferred to the market or society.

The training will take place on 14 and 17 July, from 12:00 to 14:00, and is exclusively for researchers from the H2CAT and AccessCat networks.

These are the 20 research groups in the AccessCat Network

The main goal of the research carried out by the research groups of the AccessCat Network is to provide accessibility solutions for a diverse society that must be inclusive and universal.

Who are they? What do they do? What technologies, services, and educational resources do they offer? Learn more about AFIN Barcelona, CLiC, DiCode, DIDPATRI, Digital Care, GIAP, GRIHO, GTI, LMI, LSC Lab, MiA, Neolcyt, NODES, QURBIS, ReLaTe, STS-b, TALN, TRACTE, TraDiLex, and TransMedia Catalonia.

Meet the affiliated entities that support the AccessCat Network

AccessCat serves as a bridge between research and industry. That is what motivated dozens of entities to become affiliated: to be part of a community that connects researchers, institutions, experts, companies, and entities linked to the accessibility sector.
