Activities organised by researchers in the network in order to spread their knowledge on accessibility to society. The goal is to raise awareness on how important it is for everyone to have access to communication and information, as well as to offer innovative solutions.

The second edition of the Latin American Congress on Accessibility and Usability (CLAU) explores many aspects of digital accessibility during three days. Throughout conferences, pitches and workshops, researchers, experts and companies will discuss accessibility on websites, apps and the latest technology (like AI). Researchers Cris Ladaga (NODES, representing AccessCat Network) and Afra Pascual (GRIHO) will participate in the congress.

Researchers Anna Matamala and Carme Mangiron (TransMedia Catalonia) participate in the III Latin American Congress on Audiovisual Translation with presentations on the WEL and ATHENA projects.

The network participates in Smart City with the groups NODES (UOC), TALN (UPF), GRIHO (UdL), TransMedia Catalonia (UAB), and TraDiLex (UPF) to showcase their technologies and solutions, reaffirming their commitment to communicative accessibility in the field of smart cities.

The 11 networks funded by the Generalitat de Catalunya come together during the third edition of Barcelona Deep Tech to showcase joint projects across various research groups. AccessCat will present the iDEM project by the TALN research group (UPF).
