On 16 April, the UAB will once again host a conference entirely dedicated to knowledge transfer, impact, indicators and success stories in the social sciences and humanities.
Following the success of the 1st edition of the conference “Knowledge Transfer in Social Science and the Humanities”, the UAB is organising a follow-up event that continues the debate and dialogue previously initiated, addressing how research in the social sciences and humanities (SSH) can be transformed into real impact through services, networks and strategic collaborations. A morning of discovery in which we will discuss knowledge transfer instruments, share success stories and create new opportunities between universities, public administration and businesses.
The conference, aimed at academic and research staff as well as technical and administrative staff from all Catalan universities, will take place on 16 April, from 10:00 to 13:30, in the auditorium of the Rectorate building on the UAB campus.
The event will include the active participation of the Directorate-General for Transfer of the Government of Catalonia, the UAB Vice-Rectorate for Transfer, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and the two RDI networks of the Government of Catalonia focused on SSH: the AccessCat Network and the CLARIAH-CAT network. In addition, several success stories in SSH will be presented, such as the projects promoted by AccessCat: SCRIBAL and PlanAccess.
