Repository of signs in the field of law in Catalan Sign Language (LSC), disseminated through social networks as short capsules with all forms of semantic and pragmatic content, useful for learning legal terminology in LSC.

Each legal term presents the following elements:

• The legal concept in LSC and in Catalan.
• Complete version of each entry in LSC and in Catalan.
• Descriptive information of each sign:

1. A comprehensible explanation of the legal concept, conceptually precise and written and signed in clear language.
2. Semantic similarities (partial synonyms that usually cause comprehension and translation errors).
3. Other information: motivation for the sign (if applicable), origin and use, as well as variations that may be found due to the degree of specialisation.

The signs will be collected on a website for reference. The website will include search mechanisms within the indexed elements for each term. The resource is distributed across the LSC-UPF Actua Sign Language Study Centre’s social networks: (X/Twitter: @LSC_Actua, Instagram: @LSC_Actua or Facebook: Actualitat-LSC-Lab).
