The 2024 edition of Barcelona’s Education Fair (Saló de l’Ensenyament), taking place from 13 to 17 March, will be the largest to date. It will feature 200 exhibitors, including all Catalan universities, technical schools, higher artistic studies, language courses, sports education, and research teams. 

Specifically, the research teams will have their own space, called “EspaiCiència”, where they will be able to showcase the research and innovation conducted in Catalonia. The AccessCat Network will participate alongside researchers from CLiC (UB) and TransMedia Catalonia (UAB) on 13 March, from 9:30 to 11:30 am.

• CLiC is organising the activity "Accessibility in the Classroom: When We Don't Hear Well", where they will present tools developed by the group for automatic speech recognition—those that transform oral content into text, acting as “transcribers” for the speaker—and speech synthesis—which have the opposite effect: automatic text reading to assist those with reading or speech production difficulties.
• TransMedia Catalonia, on the other hand, is organising "Let’s All Play! How to Make Video Games More Inclusive and Accessible", an awareness and transfer activity designed for participants to personally experience the barriers that different user profiles may encounter in video games. Additionally, the researchers will display the accessible solutions to overcome these barriers.
