From 1 November, AccessCat researchers will be able to request funding for awareness-raising activities, standardisation activities, and international missions

The AccessCat Network has opened three new calls for funding to help fund awareness-raising activities on accessibility, standardisation activities, and international missions. All three calls are addressed to actions planned for the year 2024.

Firstly, the II Call for awareness-raising activities on accessibility - 2024 intends to fund actions performed by groups within the AccessCat Network whose goal it is to raise awareness on information and communication accessibility in the social and business fabric based on knowledge generated by the research groups.

Secondly, the II Call for international missions - 2024 intends to fund the development of international missions in which members of the AccessCat Network can acquire new skills and knowledge that facilitate the valorisation and transference of their research in the field of communication and information accessibility.

Finally, the II Call for standardisation activities - 2024 intends to fund actions performed by groups within the AccessCat Network whose goal it is to participate in drafting regulations/standards or high-level documents (policy papers, etc.) in institutions, standardising organisations, and European and international references in the field of accessibility to communication and information.

We encourage all researchers in the AccessCat Network to check the requirements for all the calls to submit a proposal. Thanks to the previous calls, the AccessCat Network has already funded various actions performed by its members; check theActivities section or the News section on this website.
