The AccessCat Network consists of 16 research groups with expertise in accessibility to information and communication, specifically in culture, education, and media.
The coordinating entity is the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), which participates through the research groups AFIN, Neolcyt, and TransMedia Catalonia. The other participating entities are the University of Barcelona (UB), with the research groups CLiC and DIDPATRI; Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), with the research groups GTI, TALN, TraDiLex, and LSC Lab; the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), with the research group QURBIS; Rovira i Virgili University (URV), with the research group ReLaTe; the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), with the research group NODES; the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC), with the research group TRACTE; the i2Cat Foundation, with the research group MiA; the Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology (ICAC), with the research group GIAP; and the University of Lleida (UdL), with the research group GRIHO.
