This call intends to fund the development of activities that enhance the valorisation and transfer of solutions and knowledge from the network’s research groups at an international level.

4th Call for Standardisation Activities

This call intends to fund actions performed by groups within the AccessCat Network whose goal it is to participate in drafting regulations/standards or high-level documents (policy papers, etc.) in institutions, standardising organisations, and European and international references in the field of accessibility to communication and information.

The INTERMAPS workshop brings together professionals, academics, social organisations and users to discuss innovative methodologies that enable progress in the analysis, study and identification of inequalities from an intersectional perspective.

This international conference on interactive multimedia experiences (IMX) will bring together in Ireland researchers, industry and standardisation bodies. Mario Montagud and Sergi Fernandez (MediaTech), and Anna Matamala (TransMedia Catalonia), are taking part.

A11yConf, Digital Accessibility Conference, is a forum for sharing knowledge, experiences and best practices to create accessible digital products and services. The AccessCat Network is participating as a sponsor, and several researchers will be present to transfer their research.

The New European Media (NEM) is a telecommunications technology platform that meets annually at the NEM Summit to set strategic agendas in the sector. This year, several researchers from the network will take part again.

La Confederació, corporate entity within the Network, invites researcher Blanca Arias (TraDiLex) and AccessCat manager Carme Pratdesaba to lead a talk on practical tools to ensure accessible communication and reach all people.

Researchers Anna Matamala, Pilar Orero and Estel·la Oncins (TransMedia Catalonia) are participating in Working Group 21, within Question 1/21. This meeting will enable progress on the work items the group is collaborating on, relating to standards in sign language and accessibility terminology. They have also collaborated with the affiliated organisations 3Cat and SWISSTxt.

Researcher Maria Betulia Pedraza (Neolcyt, UAB) is taking part in the InfoLex seminars (TraDiLex, UPF) to present MarIATerm, an AI-based lexicographic assistant integrated into DiPAP, a dictionary included in the AccessCat catalogue.
