The AccessCat Network will bring together research groups, affiliated entities, companies, and institutions interested in communicative accessibility in the 2nd AccessCat Innovation Day. A day of transfer, innovation, and networking on accessibility.
AccessCat training returns on 20th and 27th June, with six 15-minute online sessions open to all, free of charge, and delivered by researchers from the network that explore accessibility in communication and information from various perspectives.

Following the success of its first edition, several UN agencies organise the second UN Virtual Worlds Day, a date to explore and discuss the role of artificial intelligence and virtual technologies in the field of sustainable development. Researcher Pilar Orero (TransMedia Catalonia) will participate.
CIRCOM, the European Association of Regional Television, is holding its 41st annual conference in Barcelona. Coordinated by 3Cat, researcher Anna Matamala will talk about news in easy language (as part of the ENACT project) and the AccessCat Network.
The AccessCat Network, together with researchers from the TransMediaCatalonia, ReLaTe, and CLiC research groups, participates in WSIS 2025, a high-level event co-organised by UN agencies such as the ITU and UNESCO.
The funding calls for 2025 from the AccessCat Network are open. These calls aim to support actions in the field of accessibility to communication and information. They are divided into three categories: Awareness-raising and knowledge transfer activities, Standardisation activities, and International missions.
Next submission deadline: 10th July.
Floriane Bardini (TRACTE) participates in the conference with a workshop, whose main goal is to provide a forum for the exchange of information and dialogue on experiences and research related to language revitalization.
Mario Montagud (MiA, i2Cat) participates in the ACM International Conference on Interactive Media Experiences (IMX), which brings together researchers, industry (Google, Disney, Samsung, YouTube...) and standardisation bodies (MPEG, ITU-VQEG, Ginga...).
