AccessCat and four groups from the network participate in the 2025 edition of the European Research Night. The researchers participate in various spaces with a range of activities, from workshops to dynamic shows, all aimed at raising awareness and showcasing research on accessibility.

The Green Digital Accessibility (GDA) International Conference is a leading global forum exploring the intersection of media accessibility and environmental sustainability. Launched in 2021 at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, the conference has earned recognition as a hub for innovative ideas and solutions in the field. In this year's edition, TransMedia Catalonia researchers Sarah Anne McDonagh, Marta Brescia Zapata, and Pilar Orero will be participating.

The researcher Floriane Bardini (TRACTE) takes part with the talk "You dub! Audiovisual translation in the Catalan classroom" in Pint of Science, a decentralised festival that promotes easy-to-understand scientific sessions in bars across dozens of cities.

The CLiC research group gave a demonstration of the SCRIBAL tool (translation and transcription between Catalan and Brazilian Portuguese) during the event honouring the indigenous leader Davi Kopenawa for his fight for the rights of the Yanomami people and the defence of the Amazon ecosystem and biodiversity.

Activities on accessibility and videogames. These activities were conducted within the framework of Campus Ítaca, a socio-educational program at UAB aimed at secondary school students that involves a stay on campus during June and July.
