Following the success of its first edition, several UN agencies organise the second UN Virtual Worlds Day, a date to explore and discuss the role of artificial intelligence and virtual technologies in the field of sustainable development. Researcher Pilar Orero (TransMedia Catalonia) will participate.

CIRCOM, the European Association of Regional Television, is holding its 41st annual conference in Barcelona. Coordinated by 3Cat, researcher Anna Matamala will talk about news in easy language (as part of the ENACT project) and the AccessCat Network.

The AccessCat Network, together with researchers from the TransMediaCatalonia, ReLaTe, and CLiC research groups, participates in WSIS 2025, a high-level event co-organised by UN agencies such as the ITU and UNESCO.

The funding calls for 2025 from the AccessCat Network are open. These calls aim to support actions in the field of accessibility to communication and information. They are divided into three categories: Awareness-raising and knowledge transfer activities, Standardisation activities, and International missions.

Next submission deadline: 10th July.
