New session in the AccessTalks seminar series by TransMedia Catalonia. This session explores democratic access to information, including two perspectives: that of a citizen-representative institution (the European Parliament) and that of public media, specifically Slovenian Radio-Television.

Researchers Andrea Granell (DIDPATRI, UB), Silvia Andrea Cristian Ladaga (LMI, UB), and Marta Flórez (GIAP, ICAC) take part in the Workshop on Inclusive Outreach in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, an event for transfer, dissemination, and networking in heritage and archaeological accessibility. The workshop is structured in two main blocks: one focused on research and another on institutions and organizations.

The network participates in Smart City with the groups TransMedia Catalonia (UAB), CLiC (UB), TraDiLex (UPF), TRACTE (UVic-UCC), TALN (UPF), Nodes (UOC) and MiA (i2Cat) to showcase their technologies and solutions, reaffirming their commitment to communicative accessibility in the field of smart cities.

AccessCat supports CLALS 2025, the Latin American Easy Reading Conference. Researcher Anna Matamala (TransMedia Catalonia) takes part in the event.

The participating organization Edutech Cluster hosts this event, which focuses on how the European Accessibility Act impacts education. Carme Pratdesaba Orri, promoter of the AccessCat Network, takes part to present the network’s work connecting educational institutions, companies, and social organizations in the field of accessibility.

The AccessCat Network takes part in the 2nd Digital Accessibility in Education Conference (JADE2025). The AccessCat Network participates with a talk of Carme Pratdesaba, network promoter, that explores the transfer of solutions and innovative research in accessibility, and the participation of researchers Silvia Andrea Cristian Ladaga and Mariona Grané from LMI (UB).

The group TransMedia Catalonia will participate in a matchmaking session between research groups, startups, and businesses during the UAB Innovation Week, an initiative that focuses on transferring the knowledge generated by researchers from the entire campus.
