The research group TransMedia Catalonia is leading the workshop “Industry-Academic Collaboration: Research Impact in Translation and Interpreting Studies” at the European Society for Translation Studies (EST), focusing on collaboration between research and the market.

Activities on accessibility and videogames. These activities were conducted within the framework of Campus Ítaca, a socio-educational program at UAB aimed at secondary school students that involves a stay on campus during June and July. 

Anna Matamala, director of AccessCat and researcher at the TransMedia Catalonia group, will be in Brussels for the AccessibleEU event, organised by the European Commission. The event will explore the European Accessibility Act in depth and address the challenges and needs related to accessibility in the communication, media, and telecommunications services sector (such as emergency phone services).
